baby’s growth
-
I begin to quiet my thought and get into a comfortable position. I let my body relax, I concentrate on parts of my body that feel good and allow that sensation to spread throughout my body. I ask God to make His presence known. My baby and I rest in His presence.
-
I come to him in a posture of gratitude. I take a deep breath and allow that air to travel down to my baby. I place my hand on my belly and connect with my baby.
I give God thanks for my baby. I think about the things big and small I would not have been able to experience without my baby, good or bad. I thank God for these blessings. -
My baby and I are safe in His presence. I let this peace sink in. I pray my pregnancy will unfold naturally and according to God’s will. My body is nourishing my baby and knows what my baby needs. I ask God to be there every step of my baby’s growth and surrender my fears to him.
My baby is now the size of a ____. I picture my baby healthy and growing in my womb and I thank God for the miracle he has blessed me with. -
With God I will make the best decisions for myself and my baby. I ask for confidence. I know God designed my body so I can grow this baby. I lift up my aches and pains to him and ask for healing.
I ask for his hand to be upon the people who are keeping me safe and supporting me and baby. I ask for his blessing and protection upon my marriage and family during this time and I thank him for each person he has placed in my life during this journey. -
I commit tomorrow to the Lord. Each day brings me closer to meeting my baby. I rest in His presence knowing he is the great protector, the great healer and the great provider. My Prince of Peace. I ask God to keep my baby safe.

I meditate on this verse and close in my usual way.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7 NIV)
